What is a digitally painted pet portrait?

A digitally painted pet portrait is a unique and artistic representation of your pet created from your submitted photograph. Our talented artists hand-edit using digital tools to transform your pet's image into a stunning, lifelike work of art.

     

    Can I request a custom order? We would love to include our dog’s favorite toy, but it’s in a separate photo.

    Yes, we can commission custom work like this. Please contact us to set up a consultation appointment to discuss and we’d be happy to go over feasibility of your request and pricing.

       

      Will I receive the digital file with my order?

       

      While our standard process does not include a downloadable digital file, we do include digital files with custom orders. Please contact us if you’d like to request pricing.

         

        Can I purchase the digital file only? I’ll print it on my own.

        We have personally experienced the joy that comes from placing real, professionally printed and properly framed art featuring your loved one on your wall in your home. There is nothing like having it done for you and having it done right, by craftspeople in the USA, with consistent archival inks and quality papers. We place so much value in this that we decided to bring our expertise to you and solely create physical pieces for your home. Digital files exist on drives and get forgotten, and we know you’re busy. Let us print it for you!

           

          Can I request specific colors or fonts?

          Our artist-created work has a consistent playful mood and feel to it. We know that’s why you’re here, and we love creating it for you. As always, if you are looking for a different style, mood or fonts than what you see in the sample work, we always encourage you to consider a custom order. Contact us to request a consultation appointment to discuss and we’d be happy to go over feasibility of your request and pricing.

             

             

            Ordering

             

            How do I place an order?

            Ordering your pet's portrait is easy. Start by selecting the size of finished art you prefer on our website. Please include your pet's name in the text box. If this is left blank, we will not include a name or any text on your printed piece. Then, upload a high-quality photograph of your pet. Our team will take it from there, and your customized portrait will be on its way to you.

               

              Can I use any photo of my pet?

              We recommend using high-resolution photos that clearly capture your pet's features. The better the photo, the more detailed and realistic the portrait will be.
              Make sure your pet's portrait is well-lit and composed to fill your camera frame with as much of your pet as possible.
              Please, submit a portrait featuring only your pet. No people, hands, etc. should be included in your image.
              Multiple pets together are ok!
              Portrait orientation as printed will be the same as the photo submitted. For example, if an 8x10 canvas is selected, then a landscape photo orientation (wide image) will be printed 10" wide by 8" tall, and a portrait photo orientation (tall image) will be printed 8" wide by 10" tall. If a square orientation is selected, some areas of the photo may be cropped.

                Is my payment information secure?

                Absolutely. We take your privacy and security seriously. We use secure payment gateways to protect your information, and we do not store your payment details.

                   

                   

                  Production and Shipping

                   

                  What is the estimated production time?

                  Once your order has been placed and we have received your photo, we will first review it. If we have any issues with your photo file, we will reach out to the contact info you have provided to resolve the issue. This would ultimately increase your production time.
                  Your total production time is estimated around 14 business days.  Once your file has been accepted, please allow 7 business days for your digital art to be produced and submitted to the lab. Production in the lab generally takes an additional 7 business days. Business days do not include Saturday, Sunday or US Holidays.
                  Holiday volume, order volume, and portrait size will cause delays to this estimate, please plan to order well in advance.

                     

                    What is the estimated shipping time?

                    We are shipping only to the contiguous US states at this time. Once your order has been produced, packed, labeled and handed off to the carrier, it will arrive within an estimated 2-3 business days (does not include Saturday, Sunday or US Holidays). Shipping is provided at no additional charge to you. Holiday shipping times will cause delays to this estimate, please order well ahead of time.

                       

                      What is the shipping cost?

                      It’s all included in the product price. There is no additional cost for shipping. (contiguous United States only).

                         

                        Do you ship internationally?

                        At this time, no we do not offer international shipping. We are currently shipping to addresses in the contiguous United States.

                          What if I'm not satisfied with my portrait?

                          We want you to love your pet's portrait. If you are not completely satisfied, please contact our customer support team, and we will work with you to address any concerns or offer a solution. We do not offer returns/exchanges/refunds due to the unique custom nature of our work.

                             

                            Do you offer refunds?

                            Once we have taken your order, we are unable to process refunds due to the individualized custom nature of digital and printed art, and we thank you for understanding. In other words, we can’t re-sell a digital painting of your parrot to another person!
